Alma, a young adult raised by a strict and loyal stepfather, is forced to use the dubious methods of her biological father, a former gangster who has returned from exile and whom she has not seen since childhood, to save the family business she inherits prematurely. Her quest to save this company, a model of integrity in the industry’s mafia and male-dominated toxic waste treatment sector, will turn into a quest for her own identity.
